I haven’t been great about keeping up with this blog – and the reason is because I’m in a totally different place than I was when I started it. Also – I retired my ex-wife’s wedding some time ago. I still cannot get over how well made that thing is and I will never understand why something that is made to be worn for 1 day is so tough.
You never know what direction life is going to take you. Four years ago I was down and out because my marriage fell apart. Today, just a few days before Christmas I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of 2 baby boys. My wife is a rock star and has been pregnant for almost 37 weeks – Christmas Day will be 37 weeks exactly. Her goal all along was to make it to at least 36 weeks so that they would be at least 5 lbs each and we could just bring them home from the hospital. At her appointment this week we learned that they are both almost 6 lbs! I don’t know how she does it and I will be forever grateful for the sacrifices she has made to give us children we don’t have to share. We both have kids already and these guys will complete the “ours” of the yours, mine, and ours blended family. Everybody should have 5 kids right? 5 kids is a lot, but she and I both like the chaos of a big family. We joke about these boys wondering why their older sister and brothers and constantly coming and going. It is an exciting time for us.
Merry Christmas
